Chesley and Paul wed on a rainy, but beautiful in April. Despite the day being forecasted as a severe thunderstorm and being on a tornado watch, the wedding photos turned out gorgeous and the couple was able to have a beautiful wedding without any major, rain-induced snafus. The couple chose Lowndes Grove for their venue to say “I Do” and it was a truly amazing choice. Being on the water in Charleston, Lowndes Grove was at risk for severe wind and rain. However, after the storm passed and the sun came out- the sunset was truly an amazing scene of reds and oranges.
We filmed a behind-the-scenes look at how we shoot weddings in the rain so that all brides with a rainy day forecast can see the process. Check out the video below along with some of the most amazing moments from the day- including the perfect sunset. I feel so honored to have been a part of the special day and I hope for nothing but the best for this amazingly sweet couple. Best wishes!
