Carmen Ash of Carmen Ash Photography married her husband Caleb, who happens to be one of the talented videographers for Hart to Heart Media on June 22, at Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet. Having the historic Waccamaw River as our backdrop, the wedding ceremony was nothing but magical, despite the rain that came about shortly after our “intimate portrait session.”

There’s only a few times in this lifetime that a videographer and a photographer gets married and let me tell you, Carmen and Caleb are one beautiful couple. Being on the other side of the fence every weekend and seeing what works and what doesn’t in weddings, Carmen and Caleb sure knew As a modern day wedding photographers, it is our job not only to take pictures, but to document the event and tell stories through pictures. It is also our job to help build my client’s foundation for their family legacy.

With that being said, it is always an honor and a privilege to document a fellow photographer’s wedding.

To Carmen and Caleb, I want to thank you for trusting me and for giving me the opportunity to document your special day. I want to thank you for allowing me tell your wedding story and build a foundation for your legacy. Thanks Sarah for taking this picture and making it look like I am actually working… Nothing is more precious and honest and real and genuine than taking a picture of the groom crying. Classic! A live painter- how cool is that! The kiss, with Waccamaw River as the backdrop…

One of my favorites from the day… And the slideshow …
