i recently flew up to New York City to photograph Anne and Jason for their engagement session. Needless to say, i’ve been looking forward to this trip since the day she hired me to document her wedding in Brooklyn in April.
This shoot was so much fun. We took a little walk then a cab to head over to their wedding site called the Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn. It’s a pretty beautiful place overlooking the water and the statue of liberty.
Anne and Jason wanted a New York City feel in their photographs that didn’t look too posed or too contrived. So i gave it my best shot,,,, here’s part I: the black and whites…. more to come….
i LOVE how these all turn out…. probably my best if not one of my best engagement session i’ve ever shot in my career….
i love black and white images. i am so obsessed with black and white images. i’ve always been since i was 0.
tech info: Rolleiflex. Leica M6. Kodak tri x black and white film.
