It is 2:01 am, Sunday morning. I don’t know why i am still awake.
Since i can’t sleep, i went ahead and finished Jill and Chip’s wedding highlights.
Jill and Chip got married at the Church of Holy Cross in Sullivan’s Island and held their reception at the Hibernian Hall in downtown Charleston.
There were several church wedding coordinators (*whisper* we call them church nazi’s) in addition to a uber strict pastor that forgot that God would want every couple to have beautiful wedding pictures. As a result, we were prevented from being and/or shooting in the church during the ceremony. So we brought out the ultimate weapon, the Ninja Lens, Canon 300mm 2.8L to shoot from a far distance, from the balcony and outside the double doors of the sanctuary, through the glass openings of the door.
Hey, they said we can’t shoot in the sanctuary, so we shot outside and on the balcony 😉 Sometimes, a photographer just have to use his ingenuity to get the job done and capture some moments despite of some deterrence or distractions. And that we did. And we got some killer shots that hopefully Jill and Chip would be able to show their grandchildren.
At any rate . . . let me tell you about Jill and Chip.
Jill has an amazing smile and the most gorgeous eyes. Jill is genuine. Beautiful. She lights up an entire room on any given rainy day. She could smile away the thunder, and kiss away the dark clouds. On her wedding, she looked absolutely stunning.
Chip is an overall great guy and awesome to work with. Jill and Chip are so great together.
Many thanks to Jill and her mother, Patsy, for allowing me be a part their wedding celebration. I am very grateful (and i will forever) for this opportunity and for allowing me play a part at your wedding.
Here are the highlights…
