Free Wedding Contest Winner

I would like to thank all of the people who took the time to submit entries to our recent “Green Wedding Contest”.

We are humbled by the overwhelming response and emails and letters and pictures sent to us.After several days of reading and discussion and careful deliberation of our panel of judges, we have chosen a winner : Joellen Pahs & Steven Rogers of Charleston, South Carolina ( note: location was not a factor of them winning). Jo and Steve are to marry at the beautiful I’on Creek Club in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina on April 17, 2009, moments before sunset.

You’re too funny Virgil. As you get older you realize Charleston really isn’t that big. I think people remember me b/c I am loud, wild, and crazy and will try most things (legal of course) once. 😉 Therefore I meet and run into all sorts of friends, old and new ones. Steve and Jo I met because I joined a kickball team and was on the same team as Steve for a couple of seasons. I really miss my old kickball crew since moving to Augusta. They all call me “mama” since I was usually on the first base line telling them all “to come see mama” when I wanted them to get a good kick out of the roll. We all had many a good times at our local sponsor’s spots after the games (The Brick and Jimmy Dengates) were big supporters. I can’t wait until April. I know Steve and Jo will have a very fun wedding and lucky for them the best photographer will be there to capture all of the special and fun moments.
